COVID-19
Following the update from the Government, Wednesday 2nd December 2020 and subsequent confirmation from England Golf it is now confirmed that going forward golf can be played in groups of 4, from Wednesday 2nd December 2020.
Therefore, Bridlington Golf Club is in a position to welcome visitors to the Golf Club.
To adhere to the government guidelines and to promote “Safe Golf” please be aware of the following:
Social Distancing: Always be mindful of keeping min. 2 metres away from your playing partners.
Social Gatherings: Under no circumstance can we allow any social gatherings prior or after your round. Please vacate the premises immediately following completion of your round.
Putting: When putting, because we are in four balls, it is important that you continue until you finish and then move off the green.
Scorecards: Do not exchange scorecards when Competitions are played, it is advised to mark your own card and send a photograph to the organisers after playing.
Clubhouse: The Clubhouse / Locker Room will not be open. Toilets are available to the rear of the Halfway House.
Car Park: On arriving at the Golf Club please find a safe place to park and do not leave your car any sooner than 10 minutes prior to your tee time. Please walk to the first tee via the front of the building (past the Ladies Locker Room).
Practice: Prior to your round you may have a quick practice putt BUT the practice nets will not be in play.
During your Round: There will be no rakes in Bunkers so please try and smooth your footprints with either your feet or Club. Please do not touch the flagsticks. Please keep up with the match ahead of you.
After your Round: Please leave the course and the Golf Club as quickly as possible by the opposite direction from when you entered the course (between the Hotel and Gents Locker Room) and vacate the premises / car park promptly.
Local Rules:
- Bunkers – You may take a preferred Lie within the Bunker to improve your lie (within 6 inches).
